- National Food manufacturer/distributor – CFO for Hire. I took a company through a pet food recall for an eighteen month period where it first had to deal with the a national recall. It then continued to grow while the industry went through a consolidation. Finally it raised cash through a private equity group who installed a permanent CFO. During this period, the company open a second warehouse on the east coast and grew over twenty percent. I provided the leadership to guide the company’s financial/accounting operations through this period.
- Regional Financial Services Business to National – CFO for Hire. This business bought six regional businesses and consolidated it into a national firm, providing over twenty-five percent of the nation’s debt instruments. My work included consolidating all the companies into one unified business, with over 4,000 agents nationally, integrated their twelve year old legacy system with a current QuickBooks Enterprise accounting platform. I also organized a research project which integrated over 200 separate excel spreadsheets into one unified database for reference of all transactions of the various, previously independent, companies.
