If you haven’t filed your 2012 tax return, check your mailbox for a new love letter from the great state of California.
The Franchise Tax Board is in the process of sending out letters to over 45,000 businesses that have not filed their 2012 tax returns. If you don’t respond to them in a month, the state will assess taxes.
Oh, and the penalties may be an additional 25% of the tax!
